A slightly non-issue but worth mentioning; Tarquini was DQ'd from race 1 because his team committed the utterly terrible offence of checking the tyre pressures in parc ferme.

FIA can be really anal when it comes to parc ferme, they disqualified someone from removing tape from their front wing after a race.

I remember that, it was gaffer tape that got caught on the wing during a race. FIA DQed the car due to changing the car's weight under part ferme conditions.

I really hope Thompson does a priaulx and comes back to the btcc instead of wasting his career in back of the grid WTCC machines

Anrdeas Scheld after the F3000 race at the Nürburgring in 2000? it was his best result in F3000.

Was it really 2009 when Thommo last raced in BTCC? Doesn't seem that long ago.

I hope piggy finds himself on the sidelines watching after what he said about the btcc.

What did thommo say? I thought Chilton was the one with the idiotic comments?

Thommo has said a couple of times that he feels BTCC is a second rate series. First time round was in 2000, then he found himself without a drive anywhere for anything, ended in a last minute 888 car and went on to win two titles...

I thought it was more recent than that, like a couple of years ago someone asked him if he would consider a return to btcc and he said something similar to the effect of why would I want to go down to a second rate series when I'm driving in the world premier one.... or something to that effect, could have been 2000 though...

I doubt anybody in btcc would have Chilton driving for them after what he did to arena, or rather what daddy did to them, team managers can have long memories about their breed being screwed over.

Yeah it was a couple of times Ian, first in 2000 and second in the past 5 years.

Chilton can stay away from BTCC, or perhaps someone can 'lose' his passport, mobile phone, wallet and him the next time they're in China or somewhere remote.

Rickard Rydell and Nika Racing to miss third weekend in a row in Germany

Lada down to two cars for the Nürburgring Nordschleife

Proteam missing as well, so that means only 17 (of 21 available) TC1 cars on the Nordschleife. *sigh*
