Never knew they used wrap for the livery on race cars.

There's so much half-arsed manufacturer efforts going on in racing today that I am no longer surprised when a new one comes in and cleans up a series.

BMW in DTM.
VW in WRC.
Citroen in WTCC most likely.

It shows what state those series are in. Only the really healthy series are hard to break into: F1, WEC, V8SC.

Hopefully it doesn't turn into another year like 2011 and 2012 with Citroen walking every race.

The result of this morning practice... The Citroen are 1 sec faster in the last sector alone, they have so much traction/grip in the last corner (slow hairpin).

With the WEC, Audi came in around 1999 (it wasn't a serious effort at the time and they did went for it in 2000), was there a lot of direct competition at the time?

Mercedes are looking likely to run away inF1 for a while unless the other engine makers are going to catch up?

Tarquini's out for the weekend. Not surprising I guess since his car was t-boned.
