Tordoff has quit BTCC but looks like he'll continue racing elsewhere.

Have fun with your spreadsheets, Sam.

Matt Simpson moves over to Team Dynamics.

There is going to be an announcement from BTCC at 6pm UK time tonight. Any ideas?

It's Vauxhall with Power Maxed Racing.

Interesting that there aren't any Vauxhall logos on the artist's rendition of the car.

Those are just the badges, there's no hint of Vauxhall on the livery. There aren't any quotes from Vauxhall in the press release, either. Minimum effort entry.

I get you. Fingers cross that it is more of a manufacturer entry than Pro Motorsport's pitiful Infiniti effort.

Good to have Vauxhall back, even if it's not a full manufacturer.

And I'm sure it won't be anything like the Infinity fiasco.

It would be great to see BTCC setting up similar national series in other countries using the same format and chassis rules - America, maybe Australia? It's by far the healthiest racing category I can think of at the moment, and it actually doesn't rely on manufacturer involvement at all.

Team BKR and Speedworks may not be on the grid next year. Neither it seems will Mark Howard who seems to owe money to BKR.

No loss about Howard, should take Martin with him.

It would be a shame to lose Speedworks.

If the BTCC was to lose a dick, I'd prefer Plato or Neal
