In support series news...

Ginetta GT4 Supercup:

The series will reduce its calendar to 8 events, skipping Thruxton & Croft. It will be replaced by the Ginetta GT5 Challenge at these events.

Ben Green will be making the step up from Juniors.

Rob Boston Racing are looking at running 4 cars for the full season.

Ginetta Junior Championship:

Stuart Middleton will return next year, after having won the Winter Series.

MSA Formula:

Alex Quinn will drive for Fortec, with support from the Racing Steps Foundation.

Porsche Carrera Cup GB:

Charlie Eastwood won the scholarship.

The series continues to attract international drivers, this time it's India's Advait Deodhar.

After winning the Ginetta GT4 Supercup, Tom Oliphant moves over to Porsches.

Renault UK Clio Cup:

The championship will return to Snetterton, while unfortunately dropping Knockhill.

Westbourne Motorsport will return after a year away from the championship.

Daniel Rowbottom will race with the TOCA package for the first time since 2008, with a new team.

Ciceley Motorsport will enter the series with a multi-car effort.

The likelihood the Mini's will replace the Clios. Which I'm perfectly happy with as we all know they are completely barmy.

Replace how? 8O

The bmw minI championship is largely boring based on what I've seen on motors. It is not an adequate replacement for the clios.

Maybe mighty minis and mini sevens but last time I saw them they were running 6 cars.

I wonder if Menu, Thompson or Giovinardi will make a comeback next season. Shame about Priaulx though.

I don't think Thompson ever will. Thinks he's too good for the BTCC from what I remember
