Although I still feel John Cleland's effort at Oulton Park in 1992 is the finest save in BTCC history

You're letting your Plato hatred cloud your judgement here. JP was sticking his nose (rightly so) then Muller closed the door, it was 50/50. I remember after the race both drivers paid compliment to each despite the incident.

However if it was Matt Neal Plato would've floored it until Matt was upside down off the kerbs imo

By the way, wasn't there a copycat incident in the last few years at Thruxton between Plato and Neal where in the post race interview JP admitted that he "ran out of talent" while the two of them laughed and joked with eachother?
