Oh no not Rust. I would rather listen to the broadcast on mute.

That's just because of his Aussie accent.

No, really. I think he is the most informative and enthustiastic (without getting over the top) pit reporter around anywhere today.

I got rid of Foxtel at the beginning of the year, as I found it to be mostly a waste of time and money.
They were pretty desperate to keep me though, I think they offered me $30 a month to keep my package (Foxtel+Sport+SpeedTV).
They called me back about 3 times with lower price points, so if you think about getting rid of, make sure you call them and they'll try and keep you.

Norton will not be renewing with Nissan next season.

Maybe if Penske team up with DJR they could go there?

Sounds like they're out of the sport. Kelly's haven't pinned down JD either so worrying times for them.

Little to LDM running a new livery on that car too. Noonans taking over their engine program as well though not sure if they will be bolting in a noonan engine for Bathurst or running out the remainder of the season, usually not as simple as just bolting a different one in. Can only imagine that change was political.

So what would happen if they miss the test to drive in it?

Yep as expected from after Clipsal till Sandown will be an absolute bore fest and AGP still a non championship round. Why is this category still even know as the International V8 Supercar Series?

Shane Van Gisbergen made a post on facebook about the 12hours clashing with the testing but was told to remove it :slaphead:

It is presumebly in the REC contract that the team has to attend, and no doubt in the teams contract with the driver says that they have to be there (and presumebly the team sponsors want the drivers they are backing at the official series launch). I've never seen the details of a "Race Entitlement Contract", but i'd assume it doesn't leave much wiggle room to get the drivers out of it (without incurring a fine) even if the team owners were willing.

Massive shame for the 12hr in terms of the spectacle that Lowndes and SVG have provided in the last few years, but either way i'll be at Bathurst for the 12hr and having a blast as usual.

iono

it's a shame that the governing body has to make it a competition between them, but why does the fans have to see it as a competition over which is the best? :slaphead:

To different kettles of fish with their own pros and...well I see no cons tbh, they're both fantastic events. Going to miss Bathurst this year though. Cryin.
