Surprisingly not the brakes, i expected them to be better. I've driven a few race cars with similar braking. The acceleration obviously was something i've never experienced but the cornering grip/speed was crazy for such a big car, felt on rails!

Sadly where Calder Park is in modern Melbourne is a terrible spot to have a race track. Housing development is slowly closing in around, the entrance to the circuit off the highway is so obsolete it isn't funny, entrance is right off a two lane 100kmh zone freeway, sometimes you'll have traffic back to Keilor Park drive a good 10kms back to Melbourne.

Great to see a car back on the 'Dome.... just a pity Kelly is going the wrong way!

I watched the Winton rounds over the weekend and I have a question? Why did they tell McLaughlin to bring it in the garage in race 2, I think it was...? I know he was having battery/alternator issues, but as well as he was going and with that short of a sprint race, couldn't he have at least tried to get it to the finish?

The AZ is done. The restart procedure has reverted to the 2013 system.

Matt White is leaving Seven and returning to Ten in July.

I'm assuming he'll head the V8's return next year.

I believe the volt had dropped below 12v in which case it was inevitable he would grind to a halt. Better to preserve the car in that situation.

If that does happen, that would be interesting.

There needs to be something done about this chicane cutting. Compulsory drop of a spot, a 5 sec post race time penalty or car has to be brought to a stop like they did at surfers that year. 2nd for James, consistent which is important.

Bright gave Slade what he deserved IMO. Lame penalty.

The Giz is freaking awesome. Worst donuts ever though.
