Hope one of the Justin TV streamers is going to have the whole day recorded the way they sometimes do. My new job means I can't watch the stream live. :(

I will be at 6 (northern) rounds this year as a support photographer for the BRSCC..
Basically means I'm out there with my camera taking Piccies of the support races and I'm free to take any pics I want of the "Main event"..

C'mon Clios, I expect better from you! :(

I thought they used to limit the Juniour grid size for safety or some other spurious reasons? :?

Yes. Circuit commentary is available this year as well, so you'll be able to listen to the support races too.

This is pretty cool tbh. Is this on DownforceUK? :?

Clios are OK.. And I know Ant WH quite well, his cousin is a Very good friend ,(and one of the top drivers in BRISCA F1s).. they have all committed to their racing this year but we did all have a chat about both sides of the family getting together in a FunCup car in a couple of years time.

I think (off the top of my head) they were limited to a 24 car grid. I don't know whether that is still the case.

The new rules regarding track limits are being enforced fairly stringently - these are the offenders from today's Formula Ford practices:

There are also now pressure plates installed under the ground at the exit of Druids and Graham Hill, which will send a photo and a timestamp to race control whenever a car runs over them.

That's a good system they've got there. I have a feeling that we'll be seeing a lot of penalties this year.

Or that JP has turned into a power crazy wanker..

I wont go into the sore point about Press accreditation here but there are a lot of guys very unhappy with the way the good Doctor is stamping his authority on people at the moment..
From what ive been told, its now including threats of violence towards him and members of staff walking out..

Ultimately it seems to me that Palmer doesnt actually want "Joe Public" at his tracks for lower grade meetings..

Tomorrow at Oulton there is a C Grade meeting (CNC Saloons, Citroen 2CV and Karts) and there will probably be 3-400 fans there netting him £3-£4000 on the gate...
It'll probably cost more than that to open the place to the public if you take the cost of their insurance and paying supplementary staff into the equation..

It does seem to me that the powers that be in motorsport are the ones destroying the lower levels in the hope that they can get a bigger slice of the more lucrative stuff instead of taking the rough with the smooth!

turned? blimey the guy was a power hungry madman 20 years ago, I dread to think what he's like now if he's only just turned into a power crazy wanker...

I went to his house once to drop some stuff off, never have I had to deal with such a wanker before, or since.

If I understand it correctly, these are cars have hit the pressure pad which means the CCTV cameras have produced these images. Just because that has happened it doesn't necessarily mean they've transgressed the circuit boundary rule. Right?

Yeah there's quite a few that look legal. I always thought the rule was it's fine unless all 4 wheels are over the white line.

Hope the weekend doesn't get ruined by over-officiating...
