When you're running an event that depends on attendance....nope, you kind of rely on the casuals

Dedicated fandom is all to well for an internet forum, but hell, we can post on this thing from our laptops, in bed surrounded by our energy drinks, snacks and tears....
Takes a hell of a lot more effort to get out of bed at 6am to head down the pub to watch the race.
Especially if the result is going to be a forgone conclusion
So thank god for Mark Webber this weekend, I guess. It does feel like Australia is front and centre of the worlds Motorsport.

All you'd need is Ambrose having a half decent weekend and the triumvirate will be complete
