If we are I just hope it's filmed better than those two were....

(But then Snet's a bugger to get the start grid for anyway with turn 1 being so far from the start lights, so I doubt it)

It's just points and/or a fine for stuff like that. The grid penalty won't come until he's had his 3 strikes.

They had one in 2007 and I think there might have been one in 2002 as well.

Since the NGTC Cruze is making its debut this weekend, I thought I'd compare it to the other Cruze touring cars out there:

As crazy as it sounds, I prefer the NGTC Cruze out of the 4 there.

I'd go for the TC2000 one with the NGTC one a close second.

It's a great time for the BTCC though, we have a big grid of good looking cars, as opposed to 10 years ago when we had tiny grids of shopping trolleys :p

Only just read up about Wrathall's collision with the cyclist... I'm surprised he's still racing.

Smith's crash. Not the best cap, but there you go:

Ouch. A couple of years ago that would have just been a big spin through the grass.

Damnnnnn, when armco tries to cause it's own flippers you have to wonder if it's doing its job properly.

I'm sure we'll see it a few times on the preview for tomorrow's show....

Is the Cruze the car with the most touring car versions without being able to buy even a slightly hot model for the road? Chevrolet's motorsport strategy is interesting, must be all about profile for them as they don't try to cash in at all on the racing success with road going models.

I think innocent until proven guilty was the general feeling. Anyone know what's happening with the trial? I thought they'd be a verdict by now but reading on other forums apparently the trials been adjourned until January now?

The Cruze is marketed as Eco Friendly. So having a souped up sporty version would work against the marketing strategy. Yet the Cruze fits in well for most of the motorsports they tend to dable in. Surprised they haven't tried racing the Sonic more.

I had no idea that even existed. Though googling suggests it was body kit and lowered suspension only, no changes to the engines.

Yes your right, my mistake. I was thinking of the Lacetti Wtcc r+ that came was a supercharger. 170hp iirc.

Rob Austin's a nutter - for anyone who didn't see, he said he wrestled the shark to the death, then while it was on the barbecue he stitched himself up with his sewing kit from the hotel room
