I haven't checked but I'm hoping Speed will show the race again this year. Last year's coverage was very good, as was the commentary team.

And having just finished watching Supercar Showdown, I'm glad the Kelly brothers picked the right guy this year.

No coverage for us in the States. Showing a rerun of Cup Qualifying, F1 Qualifying, F1 Debrief and Monterey Motorsports Festival instead. They should at least show the 7 feed on SPEED.com like they do with F1 P1/P3, but i doubt they will. Hope someone streams it!

Apparently another retro livery, inspired by Brock's 69 Monaro. Not sure I see it with this one...

I think it wasn't meant to replicate any livery in particular, just a generic 60's style livery. Dissapointing imo, would've loved to have seen them recreate one of Perkins' liveries from the mid 90's.

Must've been the same guy who introduced Fabrizio Giovanardi as Fabrezo Genevay a few years ago....lets Bathurst get to his head lol

The Caltex Chase returns for the next three years.

The Ingall Supercheap livery for Bathurst
Image

According to James Courtney the best looking livery at Bathurst. I assume COTF livery, rather than actually being run on the weekend.

Certain angles make that HDR take off more appealing, but nothing improves the Pepsi livery.
Image

How many Pepsi liveries have there been this year? Let's guess 6, is there any other livery competing with them for the worst 6 liveries of the year.

I give that 8.5/10. Replace 888 with 05 and it's 1,000,000/10. But we can only dream...

And this weekend will be the last time we see Todd Kelly in a Holden, he's missing the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.

From what i was told, the red on the bonnet was turned around, and they didn't use 'Marlboro' letter styling as they were afraid of getting grief from the anti-tobacco lobby...... (the banning of cigarette advertising has always beused me... i grew up watching Marlboro McLarens, Winfield Nissan's, Benson & Hedges BMWs, Peter Jackson Skylines and Sierra's... yet never have even had an urge to try a cigarette all my life...)

I think they did a good job considering those limitations.

Here's the 1982 car as comparison

Kind of defeats the purpose of the livery really.

Yep, that reversed red on the bonnet is a big part of why it just doesn't look that good.

I understand why they've done it, but it looks awful. They'd be better going for another livery they can recreate better.

Oh and that Pepsi scheme is a pile of arse.
