That was a mental first two-three laps, I lost count of how many incidents there were.

Tickford & Erebus should lodge a protest for that BS

if I did that same move that Scotty did, CAMS would of parked me from the race

and they need to stop this redressing bullshit while they are at it, at the end of the day it's just brake checking the field when you join into the pack & only causes incidents - like Bathurst a few years ago. If it's minor do a time penalty, if it's major hold them a lap in the pits & be done with it

According to the Boost Mobile Racing Facebook page Chris Pither will be racing tommorow in the place of Stanaway who's having neck problems.

Cuts half the track and no penalty. Nice job CAMS.

Scotty screenshot the round regulation packet for this weekend, to be called for track limits you have to join after turn 9

what is this shit? NASCAR must of had some more of their rules ideas rub off on CAMS

Let's see:

Overuse of kerbs at Adelaide & Surfers = Penalty
Cutting three corners at Winton = No penalty

Go off at turn 1 at Sandown = Must navigate a cone chicane before rejoining
Go off at turn 5 at Winton = Just rejoin wherever, as long as it's before turn 9

Pushing a car off while costing yourself heaps of time, while the other car ultimately loses nothing = 15 second penalty
Pushing a car wide and gaining an advantage, while the other car loses out = 5 second penalty

Good job, mongoloids.

Agreed, it's fucking stupid.

It was a pretty dull race.

Interesting to see that Pither equalled Stanaway's best result of the season so far (a 14th)...

Also Holdsworth was the best finishing Tickford car, he got 5th which is nice to see.

Mostert was spotted at the Penske shop earlier in the week - apparently the reason was transport of a ATV to Victoria

Schenken's position became untenable years ago but he really has to go now. The safety car in race 2 was totally unnecessary as the marshals' posts at turn 5 are closer to the track than Davison's car was, so there was no hazard.

It seems like the only qualification you need to hold a position of authority these days is a diet of bleach & paint chips.

That was basically an excuse to throw a competition caution. I don't think there was any risk of anybody smashing into his stopped car at that location with any force so they should have been OK to leave it there for the rest of the race.

On a slippery slope where you can only provide 'excitement' in the form of restarts.

If a race is dull, work out why and change things up for next time.

Yeaa, absolutely DO NOT go down the NASCAR route to spice up racing.
