Doesn't surprise me from Plato. Maybe it was the Honda shirts. In his defence, he stopped for a chat and a photo when I met him at Snetterton once. There, I said something positive about him. :p

Perhaps the two ladies are giving him grief about his on-track relationship with Neal or Shedden, or asking him an awkward question about the championship, etc..? A photo doesn't tend to give a fair amount of context.

But then again I've witnessed Ralf Schumacher telling a young girl to "f*** off" when in similar circumstances and totlally unprovoked, so I realise the above is highly plausible.

Were any penalties handed out for the Ginetta Junior race? Whilst they all got away with it, its not acceptable to have that sort of contact on the straight. Shame about Turkington's disqualification, not what the championship fight needs.

Ralf Schumacher doesn't like girls.

And yet they allow Plato to... well, I'll only be repeating myself if I finish this sentence.

What did Stoneman actually do?

BTCC has different rules to the rest of the motorsport world. Even on the same bill. We got read the riot act about corner cutting way back in '07 for using less than a third of the "off track" that the touring cars were using.

Plato would physically have to kill someone before Gow would give his "star" a slap on the wrist.

Quite similar to the NASCAR world. They've got the "boys have at it" rules where drivers would have to cause serious injury before proper penalties are given out. Difference there is every driver is at it, whilst BTCC only Plato is consistently doing it.
