Oh dear. Was Glynn driving the car previously used by Wrathall?

I know that. What I was getting at is that Wrathall's / Geddie's car could have some Christine type personality to it...

They're not built for ovals, just look at Jeff Smiths crash, last year?

Actually, what about the support races... can you imagine Clio Cup running on the Rockingham oval!?

Speaking of Clio cup. Team Hard have officially announced their entry into the series and have already signed their first driver and with that we have already over 20 drivers confirmed for the series. Brace yourself.

Didn't they have a pile up into T1 a few years ago.

Well they're slower so they might have more of a chance of withstanding the impacts.

Slipstreaming would be a treat to watch though...

Aside from the first race in 2003 and the aforementioned Smith crash I can't remember too much BTCC action into the wall on the oval tbh.
It seems across the entire weekend someone only goes into the Oval wall about once every 3 years or so. Thank goodness.

I think Tom Boardman got spun headon into the oval wall at some point, but that was at the end of the lap so not at full speed.

I'm remembering a Production Class BMW being spun head on into the wall exiting the final turn, must have been around 2003. Can't remember if that was Boardman or Bentwood though.

Pretty sure that was Bentwood, think he ended up getting taken off on a spinal board though the impact didn't look that bad.

Could be, might have been Boardman doing the spinning actually.
