Don't get me wrong now, Márquez is basically a riding god, but I don't get the big deal with that stoppie... would have been mega-impressive if he'd still nailed the next corner, but didn't he completely blow that?

In his defense he had been having gearbox problems all weekend and he apparently lost the lead when he got neutral while wanting to downshift into 1st. Rabat was complaining about similar issues.

Losing the front later in the race is obviously entirely his fault but I can't blame Siméon for going for a podium.
