It's a shame to see the usual first round injuries, so far three riders have ruled themselves out already. Giugliano's got two fractured vertebrae, Rizmayer broke his wrist in FP2 and Salom will probably be declared unfit due to his concussion from Superpole (lucky it wasn't a lot worse though).

is here somebody who is sometimes at assen? i´m thinking about going there saturday but the last time i was there for a race was in 1999, and after this only at a trackday in ´02 and ´04. Would like to made some pictures but don´t know where are good spots to take pictures...

Probably the best places for taking pictures is at the Geert Timmer-corner and at 'De Bult'
... Ossebroeken corner is also fairly close to the track

Fences all around. GT-corner your best shot indeed. Took some pictures from here in 2011: https://flic.kr/s/aHsjvgP8J3

Indeed on the inside of "de Bult" and all the way down at the beginning of the new stands @ the GT chicane. That's where I'll be on friday morning and the whole sunday. We'll be bringing our Dutch Magic Michael flag and some orange smokebombs so you'll probably see some of that on tv this weekend

Thats an awesome picture! The old "Haarbocht" corner, we were always there during the TT and Superbike races. Good memories.

Made some pretty good memories yesterday as well. Lots of good, close racing and 2 podiums for Magic Michael, first time ever a Dutch guy is standing on the podium in WSBK! And that in front of his home crowd, we all went crazy and the atmosphere was the best I have ever felt at Assen! Maybe some of you who did watch it noticed some orange smoke on TV? Well yep, that was me :) haha.

My son and his Kiddimoto of vdMark. This picture got shared by many Dutch Motorsport sites :D It was during FP1 on friday.

Right before that we got an autograph on the Kiddimoto from Michael!

Also on sunday after his 2 podium finishes I got to meet him and get a picture with him :metal:

Before race 1 and after both races we threw some orange smoke bombs to show our support to Michael. This morning he thanked all of his fans and put a picture of us in his FB post... :flag:
