Is JT definitely confirmed on a private BMW for 2011? If so then I never expected that!

Yep, he'll be in a new team. Not strictly a private team because they have factory backing but not a works team either. He was going to get the other Ten Kate ride but Alex de Angelis brought 450,000 Euros with him from the San Marino government and sealed his place there.

There are rumours floating around that the March TBA date could be Brands Hatch. I think it's highly unlikely myself, as much as I'd like it to happen. Vallelunga has also been suggested, and I think that's much closer to reality.

Vallelunga, Monza and then another italian round (Imola?). Nice, altough I really hope it'll be Brands!

Brands would be good, or even Donington

If only some more wildcards got tempted...

Hopefully some more bikes sign up full time as well, the grid is looking abit empty of confirmed teams, not MotoGP level, but not as good as previous years either. Me thinks time to change the rules to more of a Superstock level to cut costs abit.

Unsurprisingly Max Biaggi has renewed his contract with Aprilia for 2011 and 2012.

good evening, here is some news

Second spot at Ten Kate has been taken by Ruben Xaus
As suspected, Maxime Berger signed with Supersonic Ducati

so it's 3 months before the new season begins and we already have 19 bikes confirmed on the grid, with surely a few more teams to confirm their positions over the winter

oh and motogp will have a maximum of 17 bikes total next year, lmao

MotoGP won't be too interesting next year, I'm just hoping there's some more entrants when they go back to the 990cc formula in 2012.

Tips for the championship next year? Biaggi again?

I'm saying Biaggi and Checa as the main title contenders, Kawasaki looking promising to be up front as well. Also Melandri's experience has to count for something, I imagine he'll be getting top 5 finishes early on.

this is the part where all my predictions are wrong in 2011

How do you know that's the maximum? Any ideas why MotoGP's getting so few entrants?

Know it's probably outside your area, but any chance of BBC going back to WSBK for a year, MotoGP really not looking good this year...
