Just bought my tickets for the Dutch round for the World Superbikes, May 25th @ Assen. Been there a couple of times, but missed the last 2 years. I always go to the MotoGP Dutch TT for 21 years in a row already, but I have to say, for the races the Superbikes always provide a better show. I think I also go to the Superpole on saturday, taking some good pictures...

Well that isn't race 1, it's the start of the SuperSports. Race 1 of the Superbikes was on Eurosport 1, and finished almost an hour ago...

Race 1 saw a lot of crashes, involving Fabrizio, Byrne, Checa (while leading!) Ianuzzo and Camier...

BTW, very lucky guy there who almost got hit by another crashing bike! :8:

I am watching it on Eurosport and the marshals are laying down cement dust on the main straight.

Iannouzzo didn't even hit anything, his engine just blew up and once he stopped he fell off his bike in pain.

Apparently Andrews got up on his own and was able to walk into the ambulance :)
