Derek was in WSC at the time, but that's kind of irrelevant.

So what are Bradl's chances of getting that LCR ride?
And would it better to race for the win in Moto2 than never come near the top6 in MotoGP?

Bradl at LCR in 2012 seems to be almost fix. German Eurosport website reports something about an informal agreement between Bradl and LCR.

In my opinion a clear mistake from Bradl. A new team with a different language (Italian at LCR) and a new bike are a lot of aspects he will have to get used to. In addition the expectations and the media attention in Germany for Bradl will increase, putting him under additional pressure.

Every rider has to take part in a rookie season, so what's the problem with Bradl? LCR are a very good team to learn with.

He might talk a little bit of Italian already? It's hard not to pick it up being around the motogp paddock for a while?
Maybe Sandro taught him? Someone ask him on twitter! ;)

Not going to watch MotoGP on Sport1 next season. It's going to be so painful listening to them trying to hype Bradl and
convincing the viewers that he has a shot at racing at the top.
I miss the German Eurosport guys so much.

I wonder who will ride for Kiefer racing next season? They will continue in Moto2, right?

if you have a chance, try to get Sport1+. All sessions and races live, no ads, good commentators (Walter Zipser or Markus Schocker) and a second audiotrack.

Markus Schocker is still around ? I remember him commentating GP2 in 2005, that was fucking epic. He had a hard attack every other minute  . I still remember the Spa 2005 carnage, where he thought that one car had gone into the forest

Dorna has retired the #65 in honour of Capirossi. Probably won't please Bradl

And Capirex will now act as an advisor to MotoGP.

Ant West will be back in MotoGP in 2012 aboard a CRT bike run by Speed Master.

So the CRT was intended to give young talent an opportunity in MotoGP, but instead we get drivers that had there chance, and blew it already, back.

YAY.

I thought CRT was designed to increase the number of competitors whilst providing a less cost-rich route into the top level series for new teams?

The CRT teams need experienced riders to develop the bikes.

CRT is about filling the grids, not about young talent

Quote:
Despite earlier doubts, the German round of the MotoGP World Championship looks set to continue at the Sachsenring.

The provisional 2012 calendar listed the German venue as 'To Be Confirmed', with the Sachsenring Circuit - which boasts some of the highest attendance figures of the season - reportedly unable to afford the hosting fee.

However a short statement on the circuit's website suggests that an agreement has now been reached between the ADAC, state of Saxony and Dorna. No statement has yet been made by Dorna.
