Not south east US, but a rider (Melbourne AU). Ever joined the Distinguished Gentlemens' Ride in your area? It's coming up, May 22nd. https://www.gentlemansride.com/

a guy from one of the motorcycles groups is going, we're supporting him.
sounds fun, but i'll try next year but from a nearby town. I ain't going anywhere near the big city on a bike.....scary stuff!
