Austria this weekend and the debut of the Zarco Chicane. As expected it has ruined the track.

Sprint races in MotoGP in 2023. Quartararo dismissed the idea as "totally stupid" but we all know riders are the last ones who are being asked over such nonsense.

At least for the riders. I don´t have time to watch races on Saturday AND Sunday. Chances are big that I´ll still only watch on Sunday.

I don't feel like dedicating an entire weekend to watching a series. I rarely if ever watch MotoGP qualifying on Saturdays, so I doubt I'll watch the sprint races. Been thinking about letting my VideoPass lapse, might do it now if I'm only going to watch about half the races I've paid for.

Quartararo pratically clinched the championship today. What a masterclass

Why let it lapse? Watch the sprint race on replay when you want. I watched the "spoiler free" MotoGP race earlier and will watch Moto3 and Moto2 later this week.

Oh, and that chicane is garbage.

Are sprint races in MotoGP really worth ripping on? We're starting with a racing product that's miles better than F1. Call me crazy but more opportunities to see great bike racing is ok by me. Just hope the riders are getting compensated for the extra work and risk. (I'm sure they aren't.)

Mir had a massive highside on the first lap - Lorenzo like :8:

I was wondering what happened to him, the telecasts really are terrible with replays.

Alonso Lopez wins his first Moto2 race at Misano. Probably shows how out of depth Fenati really was in this class.

So all rides are tied up for 2023. Few surprises for me particularly with how Nakagami and Pol still have rides. Really disappointed that Gardner was left high and dry after comfortably outperforming Fernandez this season and that 2nd Aprilia team is going to be a dark horse next season.

As for Aragon, can't see anyone getting close to Bagnaia, he's on such good for on that Duc while poor old Fabio is continually let down by the weaker bike.

Well, Quartararo out so Bagnaia can be only 5 pts behind him after this race :o
