And Ducati is getting rid of Miller and not promoting Zarco. No idea why Bagnaia is the golden child there. He has thrown away several wins with crashes. |

Italian manufacturer needs an Italian rider? Bagnaia is basically the poor man's Capirossi 2.0. He'll win some races but he will never be consistent enough to mount a real title challenge. It doesn't help Quartararo basically never crashes out these days. Once he won that first MotoGP race the pressure was gone and he hardly looked back since. I almost expect another garbage time stat-padding for Bagnaia in the second half of the season which he had last year already and then Ducati loyalists will hype the title challenge for 2023 only to experience deja vu. Assen next weekend, one of Yamaha's strong tracks so FQ will probably extend his points lead. Half-way of the season and MotoGP title race is the least exciting. Meanwhile in Moto3 Izan Guevara might emerge as Garcia's main rival with Foggia miles behind and Masia back to his no-show swoon. Over in Moto2 Celestino Vietti's luck from Portimao has completely run out and the pack has caught him. I wouldn't be surprised if Augusto Fernandez becomes the new #1 favorite soon. |

That's likely to happen unless Bagnaia's confidence just plummets, which it very well could after today. Ducati would be smart if they hired Mir. |

They need someone like a Stoner. Ducati has the fastest machinery. |

Bastianini is like 1-2 years away from being a consistent championship contender if they choose him for the second works seat. |

Race declared after 3 laps. Half points will be awarded. At least Maria Herrera finished 8th. Pons is OK. |

What a briliant race by Espargaro. Surely he would have won if he hadn´t been forced off the track! |
