Wut? The Davide Brivio departure really hit them hard or he was simply foreshadowing that move anyway?

Mir & Rins available on the free market? That will shake up the order!

Fabio wants to leave Yamaha, Miller won´t stay with Ducati, so silly season could get interesting.

I thought Fabio to Duke with Miller getting sent off to Pramac was a done deal?

Mir to Honda to replace Pol next to Marquez. Leaves Rins in a lurch... Perhaps he can fill the seat at Yamaha.

I think Mir to Honda is a mistake personally.

Most of that I read on motorsport.com.

LOL... I just read that. Dorna basically told them, nah. You have a contract and unless you fork over a bunch of money or some other concession, we'll be seeing you on the grid next season.

The tyre situation in MotoGP is so fucked up. People have griped about Pirelli in F1 since their first race, but Michelin's tyre wear and consistency have had a far bigger impact on more MotoGP races IMO. It's pretty common to see the guy with the most pace fall off badly in the last quarter of the race, or a rider go from dominating pace one race to falling out of the points the next, or a battle for the lead being made up of maintaining a half-to-one second gap to the leader all race to save your tyres, then punching it the last few laps.

Maybe people like it for the unpredictability but it seems like it makes winning more about getting lucky with tyres and traffic, or just running illegally low pressures, than actual bike or rider speed. There's also the small matter of the danger in running pressures this low, but the culture in MotoGP has always been that safety is for the riders to worry about, so I'm not surprised that hasn't created pressure to change the situation. A "gentleman's agreement" to cover up rules violations that put riders in danger is just fucking ridiculous.

HRC is in conversations with both Rins and Mir? I thought I saw that somewhere on the MotoGP app thingy.

Grand Prix of Finland postponed to 2023

Not surprising. It's obvious the track owners have run out of money, otherwise everything would have been ready for 2019 Grand Prix, which was then postponed. After that the whole place has remained just a big gravel pit, with no real work done in order to improve the facilities. On the other hand, how do they expect anyone to pay for the tickets, when there's not a single Finnish rider in the series and MotoGP is as niche sport as Underwater Rugby nowadays.

Fuck's sake. I had paid for tickets! Was really looking forward to it. BTW, 2020 was the first postponed race, because of covid.
