I wouldn't call it a record. Yes, he saved it but it is not exactly an efficient way to take the corner. He almost crashed, the fact that he didn't is impressive but I wouldn't go overdramatic about that he made 70°.

It's obvious Quartararo is the new poster boy for Yamaha and Vinales has said already he won't wait for Rossi to make his decision and might look for other rides beyond 2020. New charter opens in 2021 and this is when VR46 is expected to make the MotoGP entry which would probably send Rossi on the pit wall and out of racing. Still, one more year of this grandpa show to come. It would be best for everyone if he announced in advance 2020 will be his final season as active rider.

Well, PI delivered as usual. That section where Vinales lost it on the final lap has been one of my most enjoyable and perilous corners at the same time in racing games. Scampering for grip over the fast bumpy, left hand rise before immediately dropping off the face of the earth and having to brake and turn right while the rear end is still settling down.

Vinales tried doing all that while simultaneously trying to go around the outside of Marquez. Mad props to him for trying, regardless of the outcome.

Yeah, Marquez outsmarted himself following Quartararo and crashed on cold tires IMO. He'll start 11th.

Yamaha locks out the front row and if they can't carry the win home I have no idea what can stop them.

Zarco 9th and less than 0,2 off Crutchlow's time which is very good IMO.
