Marquez likely needs a new operation because things were done badly at the beginning (that too soon return) and the bone has not healed, and depending on how long the healing then takes he might not be ready for the start of 2021.

Sam Lowes had a nasty fall in FP3 and was likewise nowhere in qualifying. Moto2 title is totally up for grabs too.

Moto3 title could have been effectively decided in Q1 as Ai Ogura made it through with his only timed lap but Tony Arbolino pulled out the fastest lap and will start 25th tomorrow.
