Damn, hope he makes a quick recovery. I don't follow motorcycle racing that closely but I know who Hayden is simply because he's from Owensboro,KY, about an hour and a half from here.

Reading something about diffuse brain damage. Oh my, if it is anything similar to Schumi - or worse - Bianchi.
Hoping for better news.

Fuck. Just saw this on the local news. The Hayden's are like royalty around here, more-so than the Waltrip's. I've met both Nicky and Tommy (never met Roger Lee), my cousin actually rides quads with Tommy from time to time on Peabody's. They are really down-to-earth, God-fearin' good ol' southern boys. This really sucks.

Wishing him the best.

It was a very proud moment indeed when he won the '06 World Championship.

I hope for the best.

That article shows a car with a caved-in windscreen and a bike with a snapped (carbon) frame. Looks awful tbh :(

Yea, and it's a convertible, so the top of the screen is reinforced, really was a horrible accident. Hoping for the best but really fearing the worst.

Well this video shows the aftermath.
When looking at the damage on the car i ask myself how hard the hit must have been.
God i fear the worst .

last update was speaking of severe brain injuries. It sounded like the one of Jules Bianchi.
