Literally speechless. I'm not a big fan of Moto GP. Just watch a couple of races a season but I know Simoncelli was a lion heart. Always on the attack. His style of racing was not appriciated much by fellow riders but he doesn't diserve this ffs :(.

Terrible, Terrible month

I cant imagine how must feel Rossi now. We all know it's racing incident but it was one of his best friend right ?

What an awful week, and can't believe I have to do this again. RIP Marco.

The blackest week I can remember since I started to follow motorsport seriously. Two marquee names, two great characters, both taken from the world far too soon. A horrible reminder that the dangers of motorsport will always remain. RIP Marco.

RIP Marco - it's been a horrific week for motorsport, the worst I've seen in many years.

Something went terribly wrong there.

I just hope the newsreports about him being concious were untrue, because if they were true, it's a terrible way to die. Hope he didn't suffer.

Unfortunately that's motor racing, you will never completely eradicate the chances of fatal accidents unless you remove the sport altogether.

Just because he was concious doesn't mean he was in pain. Also, we don't know for how long he was concious.

RIP Marco Simoncelli. Not among my favourite riders but never hope this to happen to anyone in racing.

It was turn 11?
