like in F1, if you don't pit early, you're screwed

and what about Lorenzo, didn't believed when some people here say he's like Nico Rosberg, that guy can't race in the rain

After the last two pathetic displays by him, he in absolutely no way deserves to win this years championship and would be a travesty if he does honestly. They were not champion caliber races, hell they even make rank amateurs look good

Lorenzo is only good from the front

I think Lorenzo still has that huge crash at Assen from 2013 at the back of his mind. It's a mental block that will affect him forever IMO.

Finland set to be added to the schedule in 2018

Awesome and the track looks nice.
But, it's very difficult to bring spectators there. After Mika Kallio became a test rider, there's been no channel that shows MotoGP in Finland. And it's been 10 years since it was shown FTA anyway, so the fanbase is comparable to WTCC. Only F1 would get full attendance.

Well, not long until the Finnish government throws some $30 m, of Finnish tax payers's money, into Uncle Bernard's pocket so that you guys can have a race there :whistling: :p

Serious or not, it is going to be a FIA Grade 2 (and whatever was the equivalent FIM grade). The circuit owners aren't delusional so F1 GP is simply not in the plans.

Some pre-agreement with Dorna was made already mohths ago, but I still have hard time believing MotoGP race actually happening. Maybe Russia's proximity might be a big deal here, if Dorna is otherwise reluctant to go there. The circuit isn't that from St. Petersburg and travel connections should be good.
