Valencia won't go ahead and they're discussing alternatives.

I watched because it could have been a championship decider.
The first laps were amazing, after that it was a borefest again.

Martin cannot lose this again

The first 5 laps were some of the finest racing I've seen all year. Then Bagnaia decided the hell with this and put his foot down... And Martin realized that if he crashes trying to win a race he doesn't need to win, he puts the real prize at much greater risk.

I thought Martin would never a world champ as he just seemed to make too many mistakes under pressure. 2nd half of this season though he has really come on form and Bagnaia has been a half step behind him more often than not, combined with some stupid mistakes.

All that said... This is Jorge Martin we're talking about. He can definitely still lose this.

Last round has moved to Barcelona.
But now heavy rains have flooded Catalunya...

Pecco must win with Martin 10th or lower or 2nd with Martin not scoring to win it

Spoiler:
Pecco wins but Martin takes the championship with 3rd

God these "unique" champion celebrations are always so cringe

Pecco won 11 races, a (shared) record. Martin only won 3, yet he scored more points.

For me personally this was the worst MotoGP season ever, hopefully next year will be more exciting.

interesting to see that the former MotoGP juggernaut Honda finishing dead last in the championship and the Yamaha factory team coming behind even from GasGas by a large margin

while this became the Ducati show

don't know, this year I missed a couple of races because I couldn't be bothered to turn on the TV. And when I watched, I was bored.

For the 2025 season, only 5 or 6 riders stay in the same team, all the others change teams and manufacturers. Lots to look forward to, but I hope several bikes can close the gap to Ducati and we have races again with battles for 1st.

I just hope we have as many manufacturers on the grid next year. KTM has gone into "self-imposed administration" and reportedly Pedro is looking for a Ducati seat.

Jorge Martín has been diagnosed with a right hand fracture and fractures in his left foot. He has undergone a CT scan and MRI, both of which were negative for any injuries.
He will stay in hospital overnight and tomorrow he will fly back to Europe to undergo surgery on both his right hand and left foot.
