Entry Lists:
Sprint Cup @ Kentucky - 46 cars entered
Xfinity @ Kentucky - 39 cars entered
Camping World Trucks @ Kentucky - 33 trucks entered

Kentucky, where this KFC commercial will most likely be shown 10 trillion times during the television broadcasts. :slaphead:
Spoiler:

But will the racing be "finger lickin' good" is the real question? Hopefully it's better than past years. But I got a feeling it won't.

On the regional series front, K&N West is at Stateline in Idaho, Canadian Tire is at Edmonton (short oval) and the Mexico Series is at Potosino for the 2nd time (of 3) in 2015.

I may go to one of those races, just because I can guarantee none of those races will be sold out and Kentucky Speedway has rly good funnel cake

KFC hiring Darrell Hammond is the most merciful thing they could have done after years of shit commercials. Hammond is awesome.

*Youtube*

Not as bad as "Mashed Potatoes/Mac 'n Cheese" or "I ATE THE BONES".

I fucking loathe all KFC commercials, ESPECIALLY the new ones

Seriously....this new ad campaign just seems comically racist and downright creepy.

Fuck yeah funnel cake. I look like Tony Montana in Scarface after I get done eating one thanks to all the powdered sugar.

I get the impression that KFC is oblivious to the fact that they're essentially paying Hammond to do a long form troll job.

I'm getting kind of annoyed by that KFC commercial (in the OP). But then again haven't we all at this point?

I find those style of new KFC adverts very condescending, it's like someone in the marketing department has said, well hey our products are unhealthy shit but nobody cares cos they're all inbred fuckwits, so we might as well treat them like they are so talk slow and act badly, no-one will actually realise why, I can imagine when the director says cut, the actors disovle into fits of laughter saying 'I can't believe we're talking/singing like this, is this really how KFC see their customers?''

I'm currently writing for a book concerning marketing to the younger generations and we had an interview with the marketing department at KFC. The only idea behind these ads is to celebrate the 75th birthday of the brand by showing corny and over-the-top throwbacks to the old Col. Sanders, intended to create some sense of nostalgia & a shock effect with younger customers that never got to see the old campaigns. They like that there's quite some negative response to the campaigns, as they desperately needed any kind of attention/buzztalk (market share has dropped 40% in 15 years) before pulling out more positive campaigns in the future.

Oh and, woo NASCAR.

Already been asked once if I was going to the races this weekend. Nope. Learned my lesson the first time. I only go up there for ARCA and that's it. The only thing I'm curious to see this weekend is how Will Kimmel does in his Cup debut with the #32 team.

I really hope Will does well. It's always nice to see some more drivers getting a chance on the bigger levels.

I am still being optimistic on hoping for 1 good race this weekend. The Xfinity race last September was actually pretty decent.

Chicken tenders, taters and gravy... Throw in a biscuit and a big ol' cookie..

Trolling... just cause I can.

On a serious note: Popeyes is 1,000,000 times better. Watch everyone disagree with me...

I don't eat fried chicken. I haven't in about 20 years so any fried chicken commercial grosses me out.

I find chicken in general to be severely underwhelming, in any form. Bland, tasteless white meat. Nobody really likes chicken, they just like the sauces and fixings that come with it.

Mary Brown's Fried Chicken. Founded in Newfoundland. Couldn't be further from the original recipe. Best fried chicken ever made. Best taters on the planet. 125 locations across Canada.

And probably none of you will ever experience it. :p

Fried chicken is delicious and shouldn't be judged based off fast food fried chicken.
