Nothing wrong with being a bandwagon fan. Blackhawks fans come out of the woodwork like crazy around here too.. where nobody gives a shit about hockey. Everyone loves a winner.

Think it was mentioned earlier, but something about NBC having a 4th of July spectacular and not wanting the first race back to be on NBCSN or some stupid shit.

Up until just a couple of weeks ago, I just assumed the race being on the schedule listed as Sunday was a misprint. Lol.

Good job NASCAR.

How is this NASCAR's fault? So they knew when they made the schedule that the women would be in the final?

I'll tell you this, I love watching this race a lot, but i've only caught 2 live the last 8 years because usually the Saturday night of July 4th weekend I'm at a BBQ or party like I'm sure a lot of Americans are. And I have to DVR it. I'm glad it's Sunday night because I'll actually get to enjoy it live.

Buuuuut... watch it get rained out till Monday and I'll have to DVR it

Of course they knew! The US women always make the final! (OK, so even I had my doubts myself this year, but anywho, when placing blame, always blame NASCAR)

No, it's only JJ's fault when Junior gets taken out on the last lap at Dega.

So then do the fans get pissed and throw their Nationwide Insurance cards at JJs car when he's doing a burnout?

Looking at the the speedway's webcams and seating chart, the only seating available for use will be the large Turn 1 complex and a small section of Turn 4 way up in the nosebleeds.

Gonna look really weird on TV.

NASCAR America was doing a report live on the grandstands yesterday and even empty it looked really odd. You can see where there are no seats. Turn 4 to the start finish line was just black pretty much on the lower half.

On top of the grandstands looking weird, I believe I read somewhere that the broadcast crew will be calling the race from the backstretch. I wonder if the spotters have been displaced as well.

Probably on top of the frontstretch grandstands would be a good view for them.

Keselowski got into Kyle Busch in turn 2 and spun Busch out, 78, 18, 11, 31, 16, 9, 1, 6, 19 all involved and received damage.

I didn't really see any excuse for the 2, just looked like he hooked the 18's LR.
