I said with ten to go this is shaping up to be 2013 all over again.

Didn't get Casey Mears to launch anyone into outerspace this race though.

The end of this race was about as real as it can get. I dunno what to tell you guys. Long green flag run to end and the car in 1st is able to protect his position. I'd rather see the end we had today then victory lane celebrations cancelled because some kid in row 9 took a brake rotor to the head.

I've only seen two highlights of the race. The big one, and the caution that ended the race.

I'm just here to say FUCK YEAH JUNIOR! :flag:

I agree. God forbid we have a natural ending to a Dega race.

Marc brings up another valid point: the threat of engine blocks flying willy-nillily into the stands is very real, thank goodness we had a safe race.

Wow. I am actually shocked at the remarks about the finish. I thought the race was actually pretty decent. Had an old school feel to it. Everyone complaining about the good ole days might want to take a look at the plate races in the early 90's. It wasn't too often that the guy leading got passed as it was far harder to get lined up and get help to take the leader down than it is today.

Pretty close to a full house, pack racing sprinkled with single file drafting and an Earnhardt in victory lane at the end of the day. At one time that was the recipe for a perfect NASCAR afternoon.

Hopefully this starts a trend where all the big four leagues start painting their fields, courts, and rinks the color of popular cartoon characters and make all the players wear commemorative jerseys. That is my dream. If anything good can come out of this, it is that.

According to the snapchat event for dega you're now supposed to say:

DALE-YEAH!

which works less well than one of my jokes on here, which is saying something.
