Looks like Smith hit quite a bit faster than Busch did.

That could mean the opposite as well.

I can barely watch that. It so vicious

lol um.....no.

If they looked in the window and saw he was unresponsive then you would have seen a lot of frantic rescue workers. They're not going to think "he's un-concious, possibly dead, meh let's just take our time, no hurry"

I feel confident in saying that if he hit just concrete, he doesn't get out and walk away.

Jesus that was tough to watch at full speed. So thankful for the HANS device and SAFER barriers. I'd hate to think what that hit would have been like 15 years ago.

The front three almost wrecked as well just as the 98 started to spin. They were shaping up to have a wreck similar to the Earnhardt/Marlin one in 96 or Earnhardt/Elliott in 98. Something about the cars getting side-by-side but a little offset through the exit of the trioval seems to make that trailing car on the inside get aero tight and slide up.

Watching that live, it was weird as I thought the same thing. All the inside cars shot up the track towards the outside line like domino's.

How old are you....

I never 'ASSumed' you were morbid, just that you were over reacting and your statement about the rescue workers not being in a hurry could mean anything other than the driver being relatively OK.

He hit the wall flush on the driver side....Not gonna sugar coat it, would have been fatal without SAFER.

Does it matter? You made a snarky comment, I responded. You dont like it, thats ok. I wasnt thinking death, wasnt over reacting. People can have different views on something. Thankfully the guy is ok. Let's finish the race. Im not going to argue over what I meant and what you thought I meant, thats just goofy.
