This was a good one

also, why not some IROC road racing in the final season?

and while the Cup stars would be racing at Daytona, the stars of the Busch & Truck Series would be at Milwaukee

My early days of vid capping. Good stuff. The yelling as the wreck was going on was awesome too.

1998 Pepsi 400. 1st ever Daytona night race pushed back to Oct. 17th due to wild fire and put on TNN instead of CBS.

Great finish to the '94 race.

Ward Burton certainly got the worst of that wreck. Mark Martin took a hard shot, too.

Just finished watching the 2001 Pepsi 400 on NBCSN. That finish still gives me goosebumps to this day.

I started watching that race late in the night, just to see a little, and couldn't stop until I was very in need of bed, saw 110 laps non-stop. Much better when there's no commercials every 10 laps. That's the worst that I see from back in the day.

Even with a shitty picture compared to the quality of today's TV, so epic. I remember that night I got out of work late and had to grab pizza for my family on the way home. I hit triple digits a couple times to see the start. Is it me or did NBC pick up the sounds of the cars on RP tracks perfectly?

I had no idea the 04 500 was in HD. That must have been the first race with it.

The day before the '01 race, I was in a car accident. I was down in the dumps about writing off my mom's car and I was quite sore (and peeing blood!), but watching Dale Jr. take the win put a much-needed smile on my face. :)

I believe that 400 was also run the same day that Ricky Hendrick won the Truck Series race at Kansas. Looking back, that's a better memory than Jr's win.
