It's a mile from the S/F line to where they wrecked in Turn 2. You could stop a damn freight train in that distance, so they could easily slow for anything still back there.

Well, he's staying in character by going after the #24.

That's a...plus?

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Want to know how and why a shitty final 15 seconds can make the other 2 and a half hours seem almost terrible? Spend your next 20 minutes with this man, or watch Joey Logano.

This just means he'll be back for another. Way too underwhelming. No real underdogs in the top 10 either...really shit finish. I bet NO ONE brings up ending under the yellow. Brian France is watching close.

Lets take away some great racing, tast finishes in Trucks and Xfinity, and hope for some really good racing on the intermediate tracks.

If the end of that race convinces JAFF to come back next year, that's the only good thing about such a finish.

I seem to remember many Daytona 500's without drivers named Busch or wrecks involving many cars.

So the Daytona 500 was awesome.

The Daytona 7.5 immediately afterwards sucked shit. But I still like Logano, so I'm not entirely unhappy.

That the racing was good and then ruined makes it that much worse.

Another great race ruined first by Allgaier not going to the pits with a blown motor and then by NASCAR's questionable decision making. Also Logano winning. Meh city right there.

Before all that those final 20 laps were something else.
