Innocent people have been murdered and killers are walking around rich. Curtis Turner was an interesting guy. Much more than a partying race car driver. What has really killed the fun in Nascar over the last ten years? One rich guy and his name is not Brian.

When it comes to Hendrick, he's pretty much NASCAR's version of the New York Yankees. Lots of money to get the top talent. (Mind you, I don't watch baseball, but I've heard the comparison before). That's gonna put some people off. Not to mention, the guy's past isn't exactly squeaky clean with that whole thing with his car dealerships.

Poke enough into any of the owners' dealings and I'm sure you'll find dirt. If questionable business practices really get in the way of you enjoying a sport, motorsports may not be for you.

If you don't like the conduct of one of the participants, then there are far easier ways to 'protest' against them than not watching (especially if you actually enjoy the core product and are not a Nielsen household), such as not buying branded merchandise etc. etc.

I don't like Bernie or Palmer, have had dealings with both, and know other people who have been on the receiving end of their 'practices' and ruined as a result, it doesn't stop me watching F1 or say BSB but I do my best not to contribute to them financially and my family are always told at Christmas and birthdays, buy me anything you want as long as it,s not F1 or MSV merchandise.

Rick Hendrick is just too much of genius for fools like Richard Childress to be able to deal with. you're delusional if you think NASCAR would in any way favor Hendrick over the Bestest Friend of DALE. the reason NASCAR is dying is because the on track product is atrocious and the only "fixes" they bother with are click-bait media hype stories like a certain talentless woman driver and a championship system that sounds like it was thought of during an acid trip.

but they brought back the 3, how can it be bad?
