Didn't think Denny had that many fans. I say that because otherwise it was pretty much a racing incident made worse when Hamlin tried to take Logano out with him.

It wasn't the actual wreck as much as Joey ended up being a complete ass during the interview.

Speaking of which, Denny had every right to be pissed off at Harvick. I think Kevin should have been paying attention to the closing rate coming off the corner. Though I'm not sure that wasn't 100% payback from last year, but it was one those "Kevin should've known better" deals.

Penske basically swept the weekend. :yuk: (Nothing Against Roger, just that it's a cup team sweeping the weekend technically (Cause I know BKR won the truck race, but they are practically Penske equipment))
Yep, and Hendrick has tendrils into the majority of Chevy teams at all 3 levels. Former GM suits are infesting nascar hiring. No wonder nascar downplays the mfg aspect present day.

People I think hate more cause of California last year then anything else.

Its because he is expected to win, thats why people get upset when he does win. Same with Jimmy, Kyle, Denny, etc..People wouldnt be annoyed if Kenseth, Newman, Bowyer won.

I don't like him because he comes off as an entitled douche, to me.

That's how I imagine Joey is. He probably never parties, always the DD because he wants to show off his Infiniti his parents got him for graduation. And then when everyone gets in the car he chooses the music and never plays one song for more than 30 seconds and assumes everyone always wants to listen to Queen.

I don't dislike Joey - I'm not an outright fan or anything, but I gained a lot of respect for him after the California deal last year. After the absurd way in which Hamlin handled himself during the Keselowski feud ("These Nationwide drivers down here don't have experience, they need to learn DURRRR Brad Keselowski is a flash in the pan and won't be around for long DURRRR") and in general when it comes to inexperienced drivers, along with him roughing up Logano the week before, made me feel like it was on in those last few laps. Joey didn't back down from the fight; it was hard racing at its finest, and you can't blame Joey if Denny was still full throttle just before hitting the wall.

In any case, the race was average. Atlanta should be fantastic, as usual. Yay, bumps!

Also his parents are insufferable pricks from what I hear.

I hear they like to constantly remind people their son is Joey Logano.

Joey's dad got his hard card taken away a few years back. I think I saw him in victory lane on saturday night but he definitely plays a much less public role than he used to.

If you're a Roush or Gibbs driver, chances are pretty good that you're a prick. It's not just me - it's science.

Kenseth's alright though, I guess. :whistling:
