The Easter off-weekend is out of the way, so it's back to the ol' grind for some short-track racing at Richmond.

Sprint Cup Entry List (45 cars)
Nationwide Entry List (40 cars)
ARCA @ Salem Entry List (30 cars)

Still no DEGA :(

Feels like it should've been and gone by now.

I'm sorry but what has JJ Yeley done to prove that he deserves a Cup ride? Sure he is admirable on dirt but he's never done anything but wreck cars in NASCAR. He couldn't even do anything right when he was with JGR.

That's kind of like why I wonder why a lot of members on this board love Reutimann. Dude hasn't really done anything aside from 1 legit Cup win, yet certain members think he gets the shaft everytime he loses his ride. A person who is consistantly going from one crappy team to the next usually is a crappy driver.

Reuty seems to be better working with his dad on dirt cars anyways, maybe it was just because he was a Florida guy for me but I always did like to see him do good which he did do occasionally. Shame is only other notable moments were trying to knock the wall down at Fontana and wiping Kyle Busch out at Kansas.

Drivers come and go, he had his shot and now he's gone. JJ will probably be in the same boat soon.

...and Texas, and Watkins Glen...

He's had some ugly wrecks.

Could be a double-header tomorrow if it keeps up tonight.

I'll be at Salem this weekend. First of seven ARCA races (Salem,Toledo,Winchester,IRP,DuQuoin,Salem again, Kentucky) I plan on doing this year, along with 8 out of 12 ARCA Truck Series races.

It's raining, Fuck's sake rain, the one time I'm back near motors TV (and the one time they're showing the race on a friday to boot!) and it looks like it won't happen.

Motors TV is blatently on auto too, we're being treated to a static shot of the richmond logo by the start finish line.
Amazing television

Still I won't turn over!

Nope, changed to highlights of Darlington now.

Typical, finally bother with a night race and it rains :(

So yeah, we're barely getting any rain over here lately (bar some scattered T-storms), but at least NASCAR seems to be getting a good amount.

Rain: falls only during F1 qualifying and NASCAR races

IE usually the exact opposite of when and where we want it to fall.

I wonder when the last time a Johnny Davis Racing car qualified in the top 10 outside of Daytona or Talladega? Landon Cassill qualified 10th for the Nationwide Race tonight.

Looks like they're getting ready to race.

Pouring again.

I admire NASCAR's dedication to always try to dry the track, but when it is blantantly obvious by looking at the radar that it is going to rain again in a few minutes, they should just park the titans. It's wasteful.
