Didn't need to throw the yellow there.

JWT was running well until the last lap. Entertaining day of racing all around I'd say.

Matt Crafton did a heck of a job on those late restarts to hold everybody off.

Nice burnouts from Crafton, he almost drifted it through 1&2.

German had that smile on his face like he was scared shitless but was trying to hide it.

Well, the next team meeting at Red Horse Racing will be interesting after that between Peters and Quiroga.

Just as an afterthought, why would anyone EVER "promise" a victory? Denny got fired up at his Friday press conference about people making up theories about his eye issue, and "called his shot" like he did a couple years ago. He got lucky that time a few years ago and actually won the same weekend he said he would - I think it was at Loudon, but it might've been Martinsville.

I know Denny is absolutely fantastic at Martinsville, but have you ever heard Richard Petty, Dale Earhnardt, Jeff Gordon or Jimmie Johnson call their shots *anywhere*??

You can call it confidence all you want, but it's definitely not that. More than anything, it's cocky and unwise.

Just thinking out loud, here. :)

I was randomly listening to Sirius Speedway a few years ago leading into a Cup weekend. Biffle essentially called a shot and won.

But yeah, it's pretty insane behavior.

I think Biffle made a prediction a few years ago at either Texas or Darlington that he would be leading within 5 laps after qualifying 5th, I think. He was right and he went on to win the race.

I just came here to see if anyone had posted about that when it happened, because I missed it on Sunday. First off, ouch. Second, that's hilarious, but completely embarrassing for Silas, and the epitome of adding insult to injury. I feel bad for laughing. lol Poor guy.

People are being shitheads with the namecalling in the comments, tho. That's the Internet for ya.

Luckily, it didn't look like he hit his head too bad, otherwise that could've been really bad.

Seriously good thing he was able to break his fall though. Saw it happen and thought he had smacked his head.

Well I got tired of Carl Edwards backflips years ago, if Silas wants to make a new "exiting truck" trademark, then good on him.
