The NASCAR circus comes to my back yard this weekend to Thunder Valley.

The Kyle Busch er... Drive for Diabetes 300 for the Nationwide Series as well as the K & N Pro Series East PittLite 125 will be ran on Saturday.

Entry List for Nationwide: http://www.jayski.com/news/nationwide/2 ... Entry-List

Sunday, is the Food City 500 for the Cup series. Early forecasts are calling for rain Sunday.

Entry List for Cup: http://www.jayski.com/news/stats/2014/s ... -List-2014

If you're coming to the area, I am sad to say that the closest good pizza place is 25 miles away. :( However, we do have Ole Smoky Moonshine which is very tasty.

I will be at the track all weekend and will try to post and provide updates through mobile.

I need to get to a race at Bristol one day. I have a buddy that goes to both races every year.

KFC is opening up their first restaurant in Sweden soon! I like some "exotic" fast food too, not just pizza. There's a great Mexican food stand around here, too. I remember when I was in Florida, I had Dominos, but the chicken wings, which I really liked! Is KFC's chicken wings better than that?

Greatly looking forward to it! Fast short-trackin' where aero doesn't mean a thing... gotta love it.

I mentioned that in the opening post. Local news station is not giving much of a chance, however, our local weatherman is a dork.

Weather channel is giving more like 70% I think.

They should get NASCAR to come to drought stricken areas, they could bring the rain with them.

It's frustrating how much rain ruins NASCAR yet makes F1 100 times better, so which gets the rain?
NASCAR of course.

It's proof there's either no God or he has a fucked up sense of humour.

I don't know...the FIA would bulldoze Daytona and Talladega, add chicanes to Indy (lol), shorten Pocono for some odd reason, make Sears Point and WG paved (as if the Glen isn't a glorified parking lot already), give run-offs at short tracks, and...uhh...get back to me when they find a way to bastardize Fontana and Michigan...and every unoriginal 1.5 miler ever.

Isn't there an FIA rule that there can't be more than 1 banked corner on a track?

Goodbye most of America's racetracks then, nvr forget

I guess F1 will be running back and forth between Watkins Glen and Sears Point each week. Maybe Martinsville or New Hampshire thrown in for the hell of it. (I know, they have banked turns, but they're pretty flat compared to anywhere else)

Cup prac is going on, Danica got loose on exit, hit the side of PK, then spun out and backed it into the outside wall, backup for her.
