They were talking about the great race from New Smyrna the other day where the leaders battled side by side for the final bunch of laps and nobody took anybody out. Mike said it was much better to see something like that than how K&N was last season with a "bump n dump" attitude that carried from the opener (here) until the closer at Phoenix. Both of those races involved Gray dumping someone on the last lap.

I'm looking forward to seeing him wreck a fleet of trucks this season

As crappy as it'd be for the victims, I wouldn't mind if Gray Gaulding worsens his sour reputation on a more visible racing circuit this season. From everything I've heard, he and his Dad's egos need to be knocked down a peg.

Gaulding apparently got sent to the back for rough riding.

I think the shortened straightaways and more sweeping corners are a much better layout than what they had last year.

Wow, where did Brandon McReynolds come from? It doesn't seem like that long ago he was 15th or so.

I'm sure there was some caution clipping and that it wasn't truly live, but still impressed they managed to fit both races in their exact timeslots.

The best car clearly won the K&N portion of the event. Daniel Suarez was the class of the field. Considering how this week has gone, I don't think he could have asked for a better start to 2014 with 2 wins in 2 races, while leading 74% of the laps run.

I was reading tweets (Mainly from Turner Scott Motorsports), and it looked like the broadcast was a few minutes behind the live racing. They would tweet about cautions shortly before they happened on TV.

I have to disagree. Kenzie had the better car I believe because she was on the verge of getting by Suarez twice before she got spun out. I'm really high on her and think it's only a matter of time till she wins, really.

Mackenna Bell is not bad either.

Funny, I remember watching last years Battle at the Beach and thinking that Gaulding was a little prick. Glad nothing has changed in a year.
