That was a completely idiotic move on Kurt's part. There is no excuse for trying to go three-wide on the apron, especially that early in the race. He destroyed 4 cars by doing that.

I wouldn't doubt he destroyed his own car too by hitting the drain on the apron.

Like they were saying, you can get away with that at a lot of the other tracks but it seemed dumb to try it here with such a massively bumpy surface. I can understand if he was going for a position in the closing laps but someone with his experience probably should have thought better of that move.

Jimmy did it much harder during qualify , it doesn't look like it hurted his car a lot.
