Or just make it a 40-lap dash. No segments, no goofy stuff, just 40 laps, race your balls off, whatever happens is fine. If it sucks, we wasted very little time.

I think holding the race at a different track every year would be pretty cool.

Even most boring All-Star races had a bit of controversy to fall back on, and this one didn't even have that.

Hell, if I were Denny Hamlin, I'd walk up to Logano, tell him "This is for Fontana, bitch", and knock him out. Anything to make this weekend bearable.

I'd agree holding the All-Star race at a different track every year would be exciting.

I think I'm going to go back to my habit of only tuning in to watch races once theyre down to 10-20 laps to go. Everything before that usually doesn't even matter except to burn time and get ad dollars.

Evidently, playing Borderlands 2 is better than this race.

Then again, even the NBA is better than this race.

This race has become one of the biggest jokes/wastes of time of the NASCAR season.

Its seems the hype for the race is more exciting than the race itself

The racing after the restarts was pretty crazy...and for some reason it got less and less crazy the closer to the end of the race it got.

To the point where the 10 lap shootout was basically a couple of laps of people making sure they could slot in single file and then run around for the remainder.

They gave up, decided not to wreck their equipment since nothing other then a win mattered.

Yeah. The downside of having a money-pot only. Make it a points race where everything counts and suddenly people would be more interested.

Also, the flaps coming off Martin's car were hilarious. Yup...they're going to be effective if a car's ever turned sideways at 200mph!

Making it a points race would be even worse, as they wouldn't want to risk loosing valuable points.

Should put them on the dirt track in street stocks, that'll make it interesting.

I don't feel bad about sleeping through the race. Sounded boring as its been the last few years.

2011 was the first All Star Race I ever watched and I immediately deleted my DVR of it once it finished, worst race I've ever seen.

Last night was one of the worst All-Star races I've seen. It was like watching a practice session. Hopefully the 600 will be much better than that.
