WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO for withdraws cause NASCAR rushed the new car out.......

Car 98 will be back at Vegas (or whatever the 3rd race is) if they get a car put together.

Only thing for sure is that Greg Biffle won't be trying to win this race.

Pretty irrelevant anyway, that car was a 99% certainty to park early.

True. Most are making this out to be a bigger deal because they had a top 10 at Daytona. Like that car was going to be a factor Sunday anyway.

Is this real life? Supposedly the lack of side-by-side racing was caused by the roof cameras, at least partly. Also, again, weren't the new cars supposed to be less aero-dependent?

Exactly. With any other park team you'd think "I wonder if they'll try to keep this up" after that result. But with Parsons, it's no question at all.

Why the fuck was this never a problem with the COT? Or before that, for that matter?

reading the article, it seems they are saying that it has been a contributing factor for both the COT and for the previous generation cars as well. roof cams gave the leader a slight downforce advantage but just created turbulent air for everyone else. the turbulence is good at the plate tracks for breaking up the tandems, but detrimental at the intermediates.

The NASCAR Toyota (Mexico) race is live from Phoenix in a little over one hour on Fox Deportes.

They just showed a couple of angles of the NW finish on SPEEDCENTRE or whatever this show is called, one from about Pitlane (but broadcast camera) and one from just past start/finish.

Might be new...I hadn't seen them before anyway.

Yeah but that won't stop the broadcasters dedicating 8 hours of ass kissing to her on race day. I'm sure Darrell probably reckons this was an amazing lap that secured the 40th place starting position.

He talked more about how her splitter was too low and how the car prevented St Danica from putting in a good time because even with her hands off the wheel she has more talent than everyone else put together so how dare the crew chief give her a badly set up car and ruin the obvious racing prodigy they have before them....

Yeah, something about the splitter anyway.
