Looks a bit like the way the 2006-2007 cars raced, IMO. Not super tight.

I'm liking it.

Lol, how are you blaming NASCAR?

That was someone short on brain cells doing a ridiculous push on the straightaway. Who the hell needed to do that so badly in a test session?

NASCAR told them over the radio that they wanted pack racing during this session no matter what.

I don't think the organization should be telling the drivers how to practice.

My opinion.

They should be when it's a brand new package.

I can see not telling them what to do if this was the 3rd time those cars had been to a plate track in a big group.

It looked like Dale Jr. got into the back of Ambrose on the backstretch near the front of a pack and Ambrose got hooked into the wall and spun back in front of the pack.

Cars involved:

1-Jamie McMurray
2-Brad Keselowski
5-Kasey Kahne
9-Marcos Ambrose
18-Kyle Busch
22-Joey Logano
24-Jeff Gordon
43-Aric Almirola
51-Regan Smith
99-Carl Edwards

Most of the cars appeared to have damage which might not be able to be repaired at the track. The car that might be the most fixable is Kyle Busch's car since he got some damage to the left rear fender. Mark Martin and Martin Truex Jr. barely got through undamaged.

Why is it Edwards of all people the only one with a backup?
