Less downforce, more horsepower. Breaks up the packs (less chance of the catastrophic happening) and puts the racing back in the drivers hands. Handling becomes a premium and cream rises to the top.

She pretty much had the best equipment out there. I'm sure there was one occasion where she was hung out in the middle, yet still had the power to get back ahead of a whole queue of cars.

Don't get me wrong; she didn't race badly. It was just nothing outstanding. It's not like it was her first ever restrictor plate race. Let's see how she goes on the circuits that actually require a bit more ability. How many excuses can DW make for her then?

When she was riding in third, and Dale right behind her with 3 to go, if she had pulled out I can almost promise Dale would have followed her and they would have gone to the front. Her car was strong enough

Yeaa but she stuck there like Biffle so Jr went with Martin instead. They may well have had JJ if there had been another lap or two, Jr was not going to settle for second just because it was a team-mate ahead.
