All three series head to the Arizona desert for the penultimate races of their seasons.

The battle for the Sprint Cup championship between Jimmie Johnson and Brad Keselowski is still tight, even though Johnson gained only five points on Keselowski after his win at Texas.

Entry Lists
Sprint Cup
Nationwide
Trucks

First ever truck race on the new Phoenix, should be interesting.

The 44 with Reutimann is apparently a new Cup team making it's debut.

They are called Xxxtreme Motorsports. Not sure why they are calling themselves that. They are planning on starting and parking at Phoenix and Miami and then running full-time next year. Frankie Kerr is the crew chief.

3 x's obviously make them far more xtreme than any single x team.

It's the same team that was announced last December that planned to run full-time this season.

It is a shame how far Reutimann has fallen.

Best I can guess is the business and marketability side of the sport isn't interested in him. He clearly has the talent to beat half of the Cup regulars, sad to see it happen to him and others (Regan Smith). It's part of every high-level racing series, just more frustrating in NASCAR when you see half the field filled with dead weight.

NASCAR was seen as the savior for all the Schraders and Gordons of the world (USA) back when sponsorship was more important than talent for getting into CART and now NASCAR is the same way.

Wish they would show the K&N races live, they clearly have the best racing of the NASCAR season. I would even be okay if they replaced ARCA on the TV coverage.

3 days for K&N to run a 50-lap race with 5k to win is a fucking joke.

Phoenix was the site of JWT's epic busch/truck 1-2 combo crash in which he crashed in the same turn, in the same exact fashion, twice on the same weekend (same day?).

Just saw the K&N finale. Even after knowing the results, and what was going to happen after reading about it, that race still had me on the edge of my seat. It really was a great race right at the end. The battle for the lead and the championship at the same time on track.

20 minutes into Nationwide practice and already a couple guys in the wall. Still a massive lack of grip outside the low grooves.

And now Hornish spins the 39 car around.
