Good God that was a dreadful, dreadful race. Way to have tires that stay perfect all throughout their run and eliminate any chance of actual good racing, Goodyear.

Was this better or worse than the 2nd 2000 race?

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Tell Goodyear to fuck off and talk to Pirelli instead.

At least Denny didn't lead every lap.

Depends whether you think Denny leading some laps is better or worse than Jeff Burton leading all of them.

Because it's impossible for Johnson to get caught up in someone else's problems, or for someone else to, god forbid, run better than Johnson.

Christ alive, Cartman, it's only the second race of this thing.

Watched the last 60 laps, nowadays I check racing-reference for the caution info to see if I actually missed anything.. Nope, not today. This shit is mind numbing. Kinda wish I'd gone up to Winchester for the CRA Super Series today.

aside from burton leading every lap, the 2000 race was actually pretty good.

I agree, the cars were runnning really close together, they just couldn't pass each other because the power was reduced. Todays race was not only little passing, but they all spread out and the tyres didn't fall off.

I was at the 2000 race and yesterdays... Yesterdays was a little better. They had some great racing in mid pack which I doubt was shown on TV. One interesting thing, I was sitting in turn 1 and there were so many times a car would get plowed going into the corner and would just wiggle and go on. Like fuckin' bumper cars. Before this new car and the bumpers that didn't match up, there would have been a ton of wrecks.

Good Lord man, watching lawn mowers race around Winchester would be better than just about anything NASCAR can offer up at the moment.

This problem is so easy to fix. Softer tyres and bigger fuel tanks are all they need. Hopefully next year's cars will be more difficult to drive.

At least with the manufacturer-specific noses that are a bit less bluff next year we might see a bit of skill brought back into receiving a bump and keeping control. Hopefully.
