Kyle missing the chase... karma for ruining Hornidays truck title hopes last year?

Or just being an asshat on the whole

Even if you hate the chase, it has made Richmond a tense as fuck race every year.

It's great to see Gordon eek out Busch to get into the Chase. I definitely consider this karma for him screwing over Ron Hornaday last year. Wonderful! :D

I don't think I've ever seen Gordon drive that hard. I nearly had a heart attack when he bounced off of Mark Martin. That was a beautiful drive to watch.

He's been pretty much behind the eight-ball ever since he decided to go for the Nationwide title. The past two Cup years in particular were absymal by his standards. Or is Gibbs struggling without Stewart's input that much? Hamlin is their money guy right now even though Shrub steals all the controversy.

I hope Gordon's stache is the biggest, most badass pornstache in years.

This is so badass. Was never really a Gordon fan but I'm a huge fan of facial hair and so Jeff Gordon has gone up a few levels in my book. Like when he grew the goatee years ago.

Indeed! Kyle lost 6 spots, Jeff lost 11 on that last lap. Thank you, crappy JTG equipment!

Also, about the crazy epicness of the race, I was off the grid for a wedding. Well, as off the grid as I've ever been, anyway. It was on a pretty secluded island, and though we had cell phones, I didn't want to know a thing until I woke up Sunday morning, since checking Twitter for updates would be a terrible way to find out about how the race was unfolding.

Glad I chose to do that!
