Go fast and turn right... it's time once again for some insane road course action at Watkins Glen.

Also, ARCA hits the short-track at Berlin Raceway.

Carl Edwards is running the Nationwide Series race in the #60 car. Road racer Eric Curran is making his Nationwide Series debut in the #53 car that Andrew Ranger finished 6th with at Road America last year.

No Robby at the Glen or Montreal per his FB page. :( :x :yuk: They say it's due to lack of $$$ and sponsorship. I would LOVE to see The Captain throw Robby a bone and put him in the 22, but we all know that isn't gonna happen.

There's no reason why Penske shouldn't have Robby in a car for the weekend.

Last thing they need after JV's antics at Road America & having their regular driver busted for "drugs", is Robby in the #22.

Robby might be a folk hero to us, but I think it's a safe bet he's a corporate nightmare with the potential to make JV look like the golden child.

Hopefully the #30 doesn't S&P in Cup this weekend, cause I reckon Patrick Long could spring a surprise (maybe a top 20 finish) in that car.

Nice, Pat Long was awesome in V8SC, so he's versatile alright!

Nick Margiasso is a man I'd now like to see get beat up and gang-raped in a dark alley.

Same goes for most of the writers on NASCAR.com for a long while now. Mainly David Caraviello.

NASCAR.com...come on, you used to be the first site I check when I log onto a computer.

Give me a break. Opinions notwithstanding (and I disagree with his opinion), that wasn't all that well-written. NASCAR.com and Time Warner should hold their writers to a higher standard. This isn't some slapdick blog, it's the official website of NASCAR. People need to start writing like it.

Louis-Phillppe Dumoulin will be in the #08 car in the Nationwide race. He has a sports car racing background and he's been racing regularly in the Nascar Canadian Tire Series this season.

Yep, was my home page for most of the late '90s. It's been bad for so long, I mainly just go there for the video clips now (which are thankfully a lot better). The neutered "editorials" and journalism in general are a joke, it was obvious from the articles after Elliott Sadler's win that limited the story to "Sadler gets redemption" and "after losing a race he felt he should have won", and making no mention of the shit NASCAR decision that cost him the race.

I've never seen a sport with its media in such a choke hold, the same goes for TV coverage. Another reason why I'm just not as interested in it anymore.

Was the angled wall where Reutimann hit last year improved any? If not, I guess we can expect douchebaggery ESPN flaming all weekend.
